McTigue Quarries have operate our own mobile crushing plants throughout Ireland. We have processed millions of tonnes of High PSV chips for export and local use. We design these mobile operations to crush the stone to specification. Our clients included Readymix (Cemex) in both Northern and Southern Ireland, Lagans, and many other private quarries throughout Ireland.

M7: Limerick to Nenagh Dual Carriageway

McTigue Quarries Ltd Contract Crushing was awarded the job of contract crushing on the M7, Limerick to Nenagh Dual Carriageway. McTigue Quarries processed 3,000,000 tonne of rock into various products from 500mm to 10mm chips. This was a three year contract and our part was completed in a two year period.

Waterford Outer Ring Road

McTigue Quarries Ltd Contract Crushing was awarded the job of contract crushing on the Waterford Outer Ring Road in 2004. We crushed in excess of 1,000,000 tonne of rock into various products, 500mm to 10mm chips.

N17/N18 Gort to Tuam PPP Scheme

The N17/N18 Gort to Tuam PPP Project was awarded to the Direct Route Consortium in April 2014. Roadbridge is a member of this consortium and is presently undertaking the works to the value of 100m as an equity partner.

This contract comprises the construction of 57km of new mortorway and all associated works. The project commences at the northern extremity of the N18 Gort Crusheen Scheme and ends at the existing N17 north of Tuam. It is the largest infrastructural project in Ireland at this time. McTigue Quarries Ltd. were one of the main suppliers of aggregates to this project which is currently ongoing.
